Device model data (Model Check)

The free Model Check suggests a device model from the TAC (the first eight digits of an IMEI). Suggestions come from:

• RepairCmd verified entries — TACs and models checked and recorded by RepairCmd.
• Your own shop's history — models your shop already recorded for devices with the same TAC. This is never shared with other shops.
• The Osmocom TAC database — © Harald Welte and contributors, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported licence. Source: tacdb.osmocom.org. RepairCmd uses an unmodified copy of this database; it covers mostly older devices.

Suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. RepairCmd never replaces a model your shop entered without your confirmation.
